I think the suggestion of photographing them in settings is really good. I think online is only one venue for selling. The concrete and iron pieces have an architectural quality which would be well displayed in certain galleries and in high end outdoor decorating stores.

I think sculpture has always suffered from accessibility, not in understanding the work, but in possessing it. It requires someone to anticipate it in the third dimension, which is much more challenging than "this paining is about as wide as my couch."

Do I hang it on the wall? Does it belong on the floor? Is it up to me?

Sculptural objects are unfamiliar, which is why they create wonder, but ultimately they're tough to decode into the living spaces we're used to dealing with. I recommend offering super-accessible installation ideas along with your pieces and show them in a living environment. Help people envision them in their own spaces as a way of making them seem more familiar.

Hi, I like your bicycle-mobile prayer wheel pieces. That green bicycle looks a lot like a Chicago-made Schwinn Suburban. Sorry to hear about your downsizing.

I read about your ball bearing dream. I will have a post on my blog, http://absolutegalore.com/ this Monday about a ball bearing from Chicago. I know, a little weird.

Iron Fish

Part of the concept for this work is that it is installed differently for each place it is displayed. If purchased they could be arranged by the owner or by me. They could even be split up and displayed in clusters around the house or space. It is an installation that responds to the surroundings, much like fungi do.

Your choice of how you installed the art in http://una-love.com/uploaded_images/shelf-web-705177.jpg is interesting. They look like steps. Or a wave.

Would you install these in a different pattern? Single-file horizontally? Or single-file vertically?
