Yoga and Rhodiola

I did yoga today! Hurray! Not like really hard workout or anything, but I actually moved my body around and stretched it out! I'm going to try it everyday! I can't wait until this over and I can really workout again and ride my bike everywhere!

Just when I think everything is awful, something changes, it could be the rhodiola.

Hi Renee,

I dont know how much longer I'll be on it, I'm almost done with month 4. You and I seem to have had very similar reactions to this drug-- with similar timing and everything.

I am in a PhD program right now and BARELY made it through last quarter, which ended two weeks ago. Almost had total mental meltdowns. Very uncharacteristic for me. Anyway, I've since been taking only two pills a day (40 mg) instead of the prescribed 60 mg that i was on. (I started at 40, and I think the depression may have been due to the dosage increase.) I have been feeling SO much better since I've been back on 40 mg, but there's no real way to tell if it's actually the Accutane affecting my mood or not, you know?

Anyway, interesting to hear about the Rhodiola. Wish I'd heard about that a month ago! :) My skin is looking fantastic though! Glad to hear yours is too. Hope it lasts!!

I am almost completed with month 2 and am feeling/having all of the same side effects. I am unsure if it's becasue of winter, work or the accutane. I haven't noticed any significant changes in my skin yet outside of the major flare ups that seem like they take longer to clear up?!?!

Thanks for keeping the blog. It's been very helpful for me. It's great to know that the side effects I am experiencing aren't just me. It is also great to have my husband read so he doesn't think I am crazy :).

I am looking forward to the clear skin days!
