I am and artist in Chicago. My sculptures and installations have often explored skin and surfaces, probably in an attempt to understand my own, very sensitive and problematic dermis. Now, at age 31, I will attempt to "cure" my late in life cystic acne with accutane. This blog will serve as a diary of my experience, and will hopefully help others with this challenging transformation. Getting "new skin" may change my art and the way I view and interact with the world.
